URINE COLONY COUNT AND URINARY TRACT DISEASES

Abstract
This report is a: study for distribi iion of urinary
tract disease from 90 cases of significant baeteriuria by
urine colony count from August 1970 to September 1971
at Woo Sok Hospital, College of Medicine, Korea
The most common disease was p~-elonephritis in num-
ber of 66 cases from 90 significant Bacteriuria patients.
The most common ;mown etiology of this pyeloneph-
ritis was urolithiasis `renal stone; 9, ureteral stone; 7),
but 38 cases among 66 pyelonephritis patients were
unknown cause.
The frequency of ¢¥age and sex distribution among 66
pyelonephritis patients are the most frequent C42 cases)
in 2nd and `3rd decade female group who can become
pregnancy.
